A chic restaurant and cocktail bar by celebrated master chef and entrepreneur Charlie Palmer, AperiBar reflects the lively pulse of its Times Square setting, serving uncomplicated food and cocktails in warm, stylish surroundings. From outstanding Neopolitan pizzas to fresh seafood, housemade pastas, and large-format entrees, it's a classic New York dining experience that invites exploration, conversation, and sharing.
AperiBar is derived from the word "apertivo" — it's an Italian tradition, one that happens at just the right time of day, when you can relax over a glass of wine or Campari and some snacks. Whether gathering for dinner, happy hour, or late night cocktails, AperiBar offers a welcome respite for busy locals and travelers.
About Charlie Palmer
Influenced by his upstate New York childhood experience working in his family’s vegetable garden, Charlie Palmer was an early advocate of farm over factory food. In 1988, he made a landmark commitment to creating dishes featuring regional American ingredients at his sublime three-star Aureole, originally located in a historic townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and later moving to the theatre district at One Bryant Park. During its 30 years as a brick-and-mortar restaurant, Aureole earned 13 Michelin stars and two James Beard awards. Today, the Charlie Palmer Collective encompasses an expanding collection of award-winning restaurants including AperiBar, Charlie Palmer Steak (New York, Washington DC, Napa and Reno), and Dry Creek Kitchen (Sonoma).
