Lace up your sneakers and hit the town!
Whether you are looking to break a sweat on a jog, take an urban hike, or just explore the city by foot, LUMA has the route for you! Ensure you get your daily steps in while in NYC.
Midtown Walk - 2.5 miles
Walk to the World Famous Empire State Building!
Depart LUMA Hotel > head down 6th Ave > Empire State Building (photo op!) > around Madison Square Park (grab a coffee?) > Return via 5th Ave > Loop around Bryant Park (more pics!) > Back to LUMA
Riverside Park and Central Park - 5.0 miles
Head Uptown by the river and Downtown through Central Park
A loop from LUMA along Riverside Park, across 72nd and back to LUMA through Central Park
West Side sightseeing - 5.3 miles
Bring comfortable shoes and your camera for this one!
Hudson Yards, Chelsea Pier, Little Island, The Highline, Penn Station and back to LUMA up Broadway.
Pro tip: The High Line gets crowded after 9 am., but it opens at 7 so it you are looking to jog, best to depart LUMA at around 6:45 am, and do the reserve loop of what we've suggested, to hit the High Line first.
Central Park Loop - 8.7 miles
A longer route, but so worth it!
See all the Central Park sights, including the Great Lawn, the Lake, and the Mall. A great workout, or bring a picnic for more a leisurely adventure.
